Short Story Mystery Hero

Mystery Hero
It was approximately 2:56 p.m. when Reynaldo was walking home by himself while listening to his iPod Touch that his parents had just got him.
“Darn it, this battery does not last long enough. It died again!” exclaimed Reynaldo.
As he was putting his dead iPod Touch back in his pocket, Edgar, the Bennett Middle School bully, observed Reynaldo from across the street which Reynaldo thought looked suspicious. Reynaldo began to power-walk home so that he could be safer inside his house before Edgar tried to do anything to him, again.
Reynaldo approached his front door and Edgar was still observing each move Reynaldo made as if he were studying Reynaldo in order to plan an attack to bully him once again.
The school-bully thought to himself, “Tomorrow, my friend, you’ll be my victim once again and your iTouch will soon say good-bye to you as well.”
Why did Edgar have to be so cold-hearted, aggressive, and mean as well as ugly. His insecurities most likely turned him into such a bully.
Edgar was at home that evening planning his evil scheme.
“I’m gonna ask Turtle and Popeye to accompany me even though it’ll be as easy as taking candy from a baby,” Edgar said.
“Poor lil boy doesn’t know what’s in store for him tomorrow after school,” said Edgar along with his squeaky evil laugh.
While the bully was brainstorming ideas for his new evil plan, Reynaldo was charging his iPod Touch so that it could be charged enough for his walk from school to his house the following day. What he didn’t know was that Edgar had been observing each of his steps because he wanted to take his new iPod Touch from him. His iPod meant everything to Reynaldo. He took care of his iPod Touch as if it were his own life and what he depended upon. Reynaldo’s iPod was his own best friend. He could play games on it, surf the internet, listen to it, text his buddies, use different apps, and it was what he spent his savings by buying iTunes credit.
While Reynaldo slept comfortably that night, Edgar was awaiting the school dismissal for the next day with great anxiety since he was extremely confident that his plans would go as planned.
The moment Edgar and his little group had been awaiting finally came. Reynaldo following his normal routine, grabs his backpack, puts on his earphones, and begins to walk home. Edgar was stalking behind Reynaldo with Turtle and Popeye by his side, just waiting for the right moment to put into full effect his evil plan. When the moment came, the little master plan of Edgar’s came into effect.
Edgar jumped in front of Reynaldo when he distracted himself a little.
Hahaha! Look at this nerd, let’s take his backpack away!”
He threw Reynaldo’s backpack to Popeye and Turtle to go through it in search of items. Reynaldo for the first time ever finally decided to speak out.
Reynaldo said, “Hey! Who are you to go through my belongings, that’s not your, give it back!”
Popeye puts Reynaldo’s iPod Touch in his pocket, while Turtle grabbed Reynaldo’s Gameboy Advance SP.
Then suddenly Edgar yells, “Run guys!”
Reynaldo ran to his house to tell his mother who he thought would care.
“Not now son, I have a lot to do!” exclaimed his mother.
Then Reynaldo decided to ask his father if he could help, but was also disappointed to hear what he said.
His father said, “Sorry son. I can’t help I have to work on my innovations, but ask your brother if he assist you in whatever it is that you need.”
He was so upset but had no other choice but to ask his older brother, Diego, for advice. Diego heard Reynaldo’s story and just laughed.
“Haha! Loser! That’s what you get for being so vulnerable! Ha!” shouted Diego in laughter.
Reynaldo questioned, “Why are you being so mean brother?”
“I thought you would be able to help me for once in your life, but I guess not!” cried Reynaldo.
Reynaldo walks away in great disappointment to his room. Diego felt guilty for not helping his little brother and making fun of him. So diego walks up to Reynaldo’s room and says,
“Okay… I’ll help you!”
Reynaldo jumped up full of joy. The truth was that Diego was Captain Blue Cape. He couldn’t resist helping out his little brother.
The next day as Edgar was walking with Popeye and Turtle away from school, Captain Blue Cape appeared out of nowhere in front of them. The crooks stood there stunned and scared not knowing what to do or what was going on. Edgar trying to be tough asks,
“Who are you, dude?”
Captain Blue Cape says, “I’m the voice of those can’t defend themselves from thieves like you boys. I fight for what’s right, which in this case is returning others their belongings!”
Edgar tried to show off his bully skills and pushes Captain Blue Cape, but with greater speed Captain Blue Cape reacts and captures all three thieves with a rope in a blink of an eye. Captain Blue Cape retrieves his brother’s belongings with such ease. Captain Blue Cape says to those bullies and thieves,
“This was as easy as taking candy from three little boys. Don’t let it happen again because it’ll be even harsher for you boys next time. So, stay away from Reynaldo or else you’ll mess with me again!”
He warned them to not bully Reynaldo again and they sure didn’t. Each time they would see Reynaldo at school they wouldn’t dare talk to him or look him in the eye. Reynaldo was like their bully without trying to be a bully. That was Reynaldo’s dream come true. He didn’t know how his brother had done it, but he told his brother he had done too great of a job.

6.1 ( Road Trip)

" Do you think it is a godd idea to wait til the next gas station to pump gas?", questioned Giselle. "Of course GG the next gas station is only a few miles away, so your car will hold," said Alex. "OK mister we better make it to Arcata, I really want to visit Humboldt State," replied Giselle. As they traveled further down the road GG, from the distance saw a sign. It said ' Arcata 100 miles away and next fueling station 100 miles away'. Giselle with astonishment turns to Alexander and says, " I'm going to have a panic attack." Alexander questioning her asked, "What...Wait Why?" Giselle says,"You dummy were running out of gas and we won"t make it to the next gas station; it's in town.  Alex turns to her and says, "OMG amigo I expected it to be closer!" The two friends with disappointment try to keep faith as the miles shorten and gas mileage lessens. Focusing on getting to their destination, Alex and GG see the sun start to hide. Giselle gets scared and has an anxiety attack as the gas light marks 0%. Alexander calms her down and thinks as what to do to solve their little problem. Since he was the only man, he had to play his role as the hero. Alex informs Giseele that he will walk to get help, for it is the only way they will make it on time. As Alex departs, GG starts to pray and keep hope. Hours seem to pass by and at last Alex returns with a tow truck and food. The wait was long and unnerving but was worth it afterall. Both friends with relief eat their food and board the  truck as they carry on to finish their journey towards Humboldt. :) THE END

Hanging By a Moment :) - Lifehouse

Desperate for changing
Starving for truth
I'm closer to where I started
Chasing after you
I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

Forgetting all I'm lacking

Completely incomplete
I'll take your invitation
You take all of me now...

I'm falling even more in love with you

Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you
I'm living for the only thing I know
I'm running and not quite sure where to go
And I don't know what I'm diving into
Just hanging by a moment here with you

There's nothing else to lose

There's nothing else to find
There's nothing in the world
That can change my mind
There is nothing else
There is nothing else
There is nothing else

Desperate for changing

Starving for truth
I'm closer to where I started
Chasing after you....

Just hanging by a moment (here with you)

Hanging by a moment (here with you)
Hanging by a moment here with you

Sick with Love :/

My thoughts are melancholy and sad
It seems as if everything's gone bad
His face wanders in my mind
and all I want to do is turn back time
Over & Over thoughts hinder my trust
but was it that our love only consisted of lust. . .

“GET ME OUT OF HERE”…

Screamed the little girl from a locked room in an unknown house. She was crying & asking for help but no one was coming. Her screams were drowned by the old creaking wood and footsteps she heard from above. She was inconsolable and was running out of energy. The tears continuously ran down her face and she would not budge from her protective position.  Suddenly she snapped out of it and reached for a door but it doesn’t seem to open. The house is so immense for such a small child. Everything is silent and all that is heard is her restrained weeping. She looks through cracks and crannies but nothing and nobody is visible. Her hope starts to diminish. Upon hours of desperation and idleness she starts drifting into a wary sleep. A little boy running through the hallway peaks into the basement through the key hole out of mere curiosity, and spots the girl. He is surprised and his mind is flooded with questions. He attempts whispering to the girl but she’s deep in her dreams and doesn’t seem to wake. He knocks on the door hard enough to wake her. She awakens dreary and goes frightened to the door. The little boy asks her, “Why are you down there”. She responds silently, “My doll fell down and as I came down the door shut.” The little boy sympathetically replied, “Its okay I’ll go get help, Are your parents here in the open house?” With watchful eyes on the boy she says, “Yes but I ran off and said I would be playing outside, they don’t know I’m here.” The boy squinting through the key hole says, “OK I’ll to try to find them!” The little girl sits down again and cries and cries into a pensive state. It seems like several hours but only a few minutes pass and The Little Boy returns with two shocked adults. The Man kicks the door open and grabs his little girl. She looks at them and hugs them as tight as her little arms can. She turns around to thank the boy and they both smile.
